“Wow” moment coffees are central to the Ninety Plus experience. Each season, there are a small number of prototype batches at Ninety Plus Coffee Estates – selected from hundreds – that “wow” us most and define new directions in taste to explore and share with lovers of extraordinary coffee. Each of these coffees is completely unique in the world of coffee taste and extremely limited in quantity.
Batch #22394 (rosemary, gingerbread, hops, dark chocolate)
This coffee is the “child” of last year’s great success, Founder’s Selection #21317. We replicated the same recipe that we used for #21317 with a few tweaks, which resulted in this astonishing coffee. This resulted in a dominant rosemary/thyme aroma and taste, but this time complemented with hops, gingerbread, and dark chocolate. A coffee that one can fall absolutely in love with.
Batch #22446 (blueberry, cotton candy, champagne, raspberry)
Great success comes out of experimentation and failure. This amazing nano-lot is the result of a lot from both sides. It is a Yuzo-style process rich in wild berries notes, making this coffee one of a kind. A coffee so complex and round that no one can resist.
Batch #22452 (white grape juice, frankincense, Persian lime)
Little brother of our mighty Founder’s Selection #22324. This time our experimentations produced a coffee with bright acidity, wine-like roundness, and a rare note in coffee, frankincense. We feel that this coffee has great potential to become one of our most successful coffees in the future!
